We provide free standard delivery to all 50 United States. Heavy-equipment deliveries require coordination, suitable site access, and an adult recipient. Please review the requirements below before ordering.

1. Shipping Coverage and Cost

Primary Machines offers free standard shipping to all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii, for eligible orders placed through primarymachines.com. We do not currently ship outside the United States or to P.O. boxes.

Free standard shipping includes transportation to one safe, lawful, and reasonably accessible delivery point at the confirmed address. There is no standard freight charge and no residential-delivery surcharge.

Services outside standard delivery

Free shipping does not include customer-requested or site-specific services such as cranes, rigging crews, specialized permits or escorts, ferry or barge service to locations without ordinary road access, indoor placement, assembly, installation, long-term storage, or repeat delivery after a missed appointment. If one of these services is needed, we will disclose any charge and obtain your approval before arranging it.

2. Estimated Delivery Time

Our standard estimate for in-stock products is 7–18 business days after the order is accepted and payment and delivery information are confirmed. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

This is an estimated delivery window, not a guaranteed appointment time. A product page, written quote, or order confirmation may state a different timeline for a backordered, custom-configured, oversized, or special-order product. We will disclose a different known timeline before accepting the affected order.

3. Order Processing

Processing generally begins after payment is verified and we have complete delivery information. We may contact you to confirm site access, equipment dimensions, the receiving contact, or other freight requirements. The delivery estimate may not begin until requested information is received.

Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays begin processing on the next business day. We will send a shipment confirmation when the equipment is dispatched.

4. Heavy-Equipment Freight Delivery

Machinery may be transported by flatbed, step-deck, lowboy, enclosed freight, less-than-truckload carrier, or another suitable professional carrier based on the equipment’s size, weight, configuration, route, and destination.

Attachments, parts, manuals, keys, and accessories may arrive separately. A split shipment does not create an additional shipping charge. We will identify separate shipments when tracking or carrier information is available.

5. Delivery-Site Requirements

Before ordering, make sure the delivery location can safely accommodate the assigned freight vehicle. The receiving site should have:

  • A legal route with adequate road width, turning space, overhead clearance, and weight capacity;
  • A firm, level, and unobstructed area suitable for the carrier and unloading method;
  • No unsafe slope, soft ground, low branches, wires, narrow gates, or other known hazards;
  • Any permissions needed for access to a jobsite, gated property, private road, or restricted area; and
  • A working telephone number for the receiving contact.

Tell us before shipment about limited access, islands, unpaved roads, gated communities, construction zones, seasonal roads, or other special conditions. The carrier may select the nearest safe and lawful delivery point if the requested location cannot be safely reached.

6. Unloading and Placement

The unloading method depends on the equipment and carrier. It may involve a carrier-provided ramp, rollback, liftgate, forklift, or other suitable method. We will communicate known unloading arrangements before delivery.

Standard delivery does not include installation, site assembly, operator training, indoor placement, or precision positioning. Do not climb onto a trailer, enter the carrier’s operating area, or attempt to unload machinery unless the carrier authorizes it and the person performing the work is properly trained and equipped. The driver may pause or refuse unloading when conditions are unsafe.

7. Delivery Appointments

Most machinery deliveries require an appointment. The carrier or our team will contact you using the information provided with the order. An adult age 18 or older who is authorized to receive and inspect the shipment must be present unless we approve another arrangement in writing.

Appointment windows are estimates and may be affected by route conditions. Do not schedule contractors, operators, rentals, or other dependent work until the carrier has confirmed the delivery appointment.

8. Tracking and Order Status

We will provide tracking details or carrier contact information when available. Some specialized freight shipments do not offer continuous online tracking. In those cases, our team can request a status update from the carrier.

For assistance, email support@primarymachines.com or call (727) 616-6561 with your order number.

9. Inspection, Damage, and Missing Items

Inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt whenever reasonably possible. Check the machine, attachments, packaging, and visible components against the order. If you notice damage or missing items:

  1. Describe the issue clearly on the delivery receipt or bill of lading;
  2. Take clear photographs or video of the equipment, packaging, and affected area;
  3. Keep the packaging and delivery documents; and
  4. Contact us within 7 calendar days after delivery.

Signing a receipt without a damage notation does not automatically waive a concealed-damage claim, but prompt documentation helps us work with the carrier. Do not refuse delivery solely because of damage unless we or the carrier advise you to do so. Claims and remedies are also governed by our Refund Policy.

10. Address or Order Changes

Contact us immediately if the delivery address or receiving contact must change. We cannot guarantee changes after dispatch. For security, we may require identity or payment verification before redirecting a shipment.

A change that requires rerouting, storage, different equipment, new permits, or a different delivery method may delay the shipment. Any optional charge will be disclosed for approval before the change is completed.

11. Delays and Updated Delivery Dates

Severe weather, road closures, natural events, carrier interruptions, mechanical problems, regulatory inspections, labor disruptions, supply issues, or inaccurate delivery information may affect delivery.

If we learn that an order cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will notify you, provide a revised shipping estimate when available, and give you the choice to accept the delay or cancel the unshipped order for a full refund, as required by applicable law.

12. Missed, Refused, or Failed Delivery

Free shipping covers the first properly scheduled standard-delivery attempt. If delivery cannot be completed because no authorized recipient is present, the address is incorrect, access conditions were not disclosed, the customer refuses an undamaged shipment without authorization, or the site is unsafe, the carrier may return the equipment to a terminal.

Reasonable storage, detention, redelivery, rerouting, or return-freight costs caused by these circumstances may be charged where permitted by law. We will provide available documentation of the charge. This section does not apply when failed delivery was caused by our error or an eligible carrier-damage issue.

13. Title and Risk of Loss

Unless a written order document states otherwise, title and risk of loss pass to you when the product is physically delivered at the confirmed delivery point. This does not limit your rights concerning shipping damage, incorrect items, returns, refunds, or warranty coverage.
